The AniRA platform is dedicated to the generation and phenotyping of mouse models.

The platform is subdivided in different facilities specialised in the provision of different services.

All facilities maintain strong links with local research teams allowing efficient technology development and transfer.

All AniRA facilities are dependent on animal husbandry provided mainly by the PBES core facility.

AniRA is located on the IFR128 campus site in Lyon. The AniRA plateform is involved in the European phenomic consortium EUmodic for which it performs secondary i.e. in depth phenotyping. AniRA is part of Celphedia a distributed national network (TGIR) of facilities dedicated to the production, characterisation and archiving of animal models.
